| Prof. Jianjun XuNortheast Petroleum University Prof. Jianjun Xu is recognized as a New Century Excellent Talent in Heilongjiang Province, serves on the editorial boards of Electrical Technology and Automation Application, acts as an Executive Director of the Heilongjiang Instrument and Meter Society, and heads the national first-class major "Electrical Engineering and Its Automation". As the leader of the "Heilongjiang Provincial Science and Technology Innovation Team for Oil and Gas Information and Control Engineering", his research focuses on power system automation and energy conversion and control technology. He has published over 80 papers in journals including IEEE Transactions, Transactions of China Electrotechnical Society, and Acta Energiae Solaris Sinica, obtained 8 authorized invention patents, received 12 provincial or ministerial awards, and undertaken more than 50 research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and various key technology research projects. |
| Prof. Zhixin WangShanghai Jiao Tong University Prof. Wang previously served as Vice Director of the Electrical Engineering Department, Director of the Hydraulic Laboratory, Deputy Director of the Mechatronics & Control Institute, Assistant Dean of the Mechanical Engineering School, and Deputy Director of the Science & Technology Department at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Concurrently, he was Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Hydropower Engineering Society, Member of the Renewable Energy Committee of the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering, and review expert for programs like the National 863 Program, National Natural Science Foundation of China, and MOE Science & Technology Awards. He also worked as editorial board member/reviewer for journals including *Proceedings of the CSEE* and *Power System Technology*. His honors include titles of Young Science & Technology Expert of China Machinery Industry, Cross-Century Talent of the former Ministry of Machinery Industry, and awards like the Second Prize of Military Science & Technology Progress and Silver Award of China International Industry Fair. |
| Assoc. Prof. Xiong LiuJinan University Dr. Xiong Liu (Senior Member, IEEE), received the B.E. degree majored in electrical engineering and automation and M.Sc. degree majored in power electronics and electrical drive from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2006 and 2008, respectively, and the Ph.D degree from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore in 2013.
From September 2011 to January 2012, he was a Visiting Scholar with the Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University, Denmark. From April 2013 to December 2013, he was a Postdoc Research Fellow with the Energy Research Institute, Nanyang Technological University. From December 2013 to July 2020, he worked as a Principal Technologist in Rolls-Royce Electrical, Rolls-Royce Singapore Pte. Ltd. During the work in Rolls-Royce, he has led various research projects in Rolls-Royce@ NTU Corp Lab and supervised 3 Ph. D students. From September 2020 till now，he is an associate professor in the Energy and Electricity Research Center at Jinan University. In his current position, he has led various research projects including one NSFC funded project, and won the sponsorship from Major Talent Program of Guangdong Province. He has published more than 60 papers including 15 first and corresponding authored tier-1 top SCI IEEE Transactions papers, 6 patents granted in US or Europe, and a few Chinese filed patent applications pending review. He has been nominated as World’s Top 2% Scientists 4 times by Stanford and Elsevier in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2024 respectively. |
